At the exhibition “Streetfight” at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, that opened on October 21, 2022, Edward Dwurnik’s painting from the “Warsaw” series is presented. The canvas entitled “Two Constructions” (1974) shows the construction of the Central Railway Station and the reconstruction of the center of the capital – the transformation of the city rebuilt after the war into a modern metropolis. The exhibition is part of the 14th edition of the “Warsaw Under Construction” festival and addresses the issue of the life of a city street, today almost entirely dominated by cars. Its curators are Tomasz Fudala and Jan Mencwel. The exhibition will be on view through January 15, 2023.
