We invite you to the Foundation’s headquarters for a new exhibition:
“Edward Dwurnik: My old longings for the sea”
We will show Dwurnik’s monumental paintings from the “Blue” series from the early 1990s. The “Blue” series is an endless sea of waves skillfully painted with a wide brush. The artist dreamed of painting the sea while still a student, but did not know how to do it. It was not until 1992, approaching his 50th birthday, that he recalled his “old longings for the sea” and discovered “true painting” in a simple gesture reproducing the tissue and texture of turbulent water.

Directions:
The bus and tram stop is located at the intersection of Sobieskiego and Nałęczowska street. Thanks to the launch of new tram lines – 14, 16 and 19, the ride on the Centrum-Foundation route takes about 35 minutes. You can also use buses: 116, 180. There is also a parking lot in front of the Foundation’s headquarters, where you can leave your car.
