Since 9 July Herbst Palace Museum (a department of Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź) has been showing a very interesting exhibition. Several artworks by Edward Dwurnik recently donated to the Museum by Prof. Roman Zarzycki have been juxtaposed with pieces by old Polish masters with whom the artist had led an impassioned dialogue in his art. The exhibition, curated by Katarzyna Kończal, is entitled “The Pageant. Edward Dwurnik and the Phantoms of History”. It will be on view through 31 August 2021.
