Edward Dwurnik Foundation was established in May 2019 by his daughter Apolonia Dwurnik. The Foundation was registered in the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in September 2019. The Foundation Board includes also Teresa Gierzyńska-Dwurnik and Daniel Ożga. The Minister of Culture and National Heritage is the supervisory body of the Foundation.
The mission of the Foundation is the broadly defined care of Edward Dwurnik’s artistic legacy. It is mainly implemented by preparing an online catalogue of all of the artist’s works on canvas and on paper, research projects devoted to his life and work, as well as sharing and spreading knowledge about the emerging archive. The Foundation creates also a representative collection of Edward Dwurnik’s artworks, containing all motifs and themes present in his body of work.
The Foundation does not sell Edward Dwurnik’s works. In this respect we cooperate with the Raster Gallery in Warsaw.
