Edward Dwurnik Foundation was established in May 2019 by his daughter Apolonia Dwurnik. The Foundation was registered in the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in September 2019. Besides Apolonia Dwurnik, the Foundation Board includes Teresa Gierzyńska-Dwurnik and Daniel Ożga. The Minister of Culture and National Heritage acts as the Foundation’s supervisory body.
Our mission is to care for and preserve Edward Dwurnik’s artistic legacy. We seek to catalogue online all his works on canvas and on paper, support research projects devoted to his life and work, but also share and spread knowledge about this emerging archive. To that end, we create a representative collection of Edward Dwurnik’s artworks, which comprises all motifs and themes available in his body of work.
The Foundation does not sell Edward Dwurnik’s works. In this respect, we cooperate with the Raster Gallery in Warsaw.
